NeoMarble
DESCRIPTION
NeoMarble is a 3d OpenGl remake of the marble madness game for the
original Nintendo Entertainment System. The point of the game is
to move the marble using arrow keys and jump using the spacebar in
order to get to the goal pillar. Graphics effects in the game include
a reflective, refractive, bumpmapped marble, shadowmaps, a blooming
effect once the goal is reached, and a particle system erupting from
the goal pillar. The music for the game is the actual music from the
original game, and each level includes its own beautiful set of textures
and background images. The game is managed from an interface that
includes high scores and an explanation of controls. Also included
is a map editor and a scene graph editor for you to make your own
marble madness levels (some programming experience required).
Special thanks goes to key developers Sean Arietta, John Dimeo,
Stephen Lawrence, and Matthew Rodgers for making such an awesome game.
